The mission of the Information Systems program is to provide quality education in the field of information systems based on internationally recognized standards for undergraduate programs; produce information systems professionals who can deploy efficiently IT technologies and implement IT solutions according to market and society needs, particularly in the UAE and Gulf region; prepare graduates for lifelong learning and research. Program Educational Objectives (Goals) Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program will have the following characteristics within few years of graduation: PEO#1. Utilize their acquired technical, soft skills, and knowledge in information systems to pursue a rewarding and successful career in the public sector, private sector, or academia locally or internationally. PEO#2. Act as effective individuals, team members, or leaders, or innovators who can address information systems-related technical, business, and ethical challenges. PEO#3. Engage in lifelong learning and professional development through self-study and professional or graduate studies in information systems or related fields.
