The Fundamentals of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certificate is a one-year program offered by the Postgraduate Medical Education Deanship at MBRU for healthcare providers who want to enhance their clinical practice with POCUS. It is a blended program that combines online activities with face-to-face workshops, hands-on practice in the learner's own clinical workplace and feedback from expert faculty. Graduates receive the MBRU Fundamentals of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certificate.

Tuition & Fees

AED 8,500 Per semester

Tuition AED 17,000 for the one-year program, due when the admission offer is accepted. Application fee AED 150 + AED 12.5 VAT, non-refundable.

Degree level: Postgraduate Certificate
Duration: 1 year; 1 year, hybrid; 6 modules (online theory, face-to-face skills sessions, clinical practice at the learner's workplace, e-portfolio and competency assessment). Not open to current MBRU residents or fellows.

6Undergraduate Degree Certificate. A notarized English translation of documents originally in a language other than Arabic or English is required.
7Undergraduate Academic Transcript. A notarized English translation of documents originally in a language other than Arabic or English is required.
8Internship Certificate. If the certificate is not yet available, please upload a letter from the institution confirming your enrollment and the expected date of completion. The completion date must be prior to the beginning of the academic year.
9Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) – General with Grade Average (if applicable).
10Results of the English Proficiency Test as per the published criteria.
11Recommendation Letter - Preference 1 (letter should be dated not more than one year).
