Overview

Political science at NYU Abu Dhabi is for students interested in the theory and practice of government and politics. Why do countries go to war? Why do dictatorships survive in some countries but not others? What are the causes of economic underdevelopment? What makes a government legitimate? How do governments fight climate change? How does politics matter in resolving minority bias and gender gap? Students with a passion for questions such as these will find the Political Science major most rewarding.
