The MSGC program is a 2-year graduate program which has been developed to meet the standards of similar programs internationally and genetic counseling accreditation/registration and credentialing bodies. The MSGC will align with and network with international programs to ensure that UAEU graduates will be considered world class genetic counselors. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to be licensed as Allied Health Professional as per the scope of practice published by the DoH. The MSGC stands as pioneering initiative within the esteemed College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS) at the UAE University marking a significant milestone in the realm of genetic education and healthcare in the region.
